The Center for Digestive Diseases combines significant clinical
expertise with state-of-the-art technology to provide gastroenterological
analytical procedures and interventional treatment for digestive diseases and
disorders. Our Gastroenterologist’s role is to prevent, diagnose and treat
conditions and disorders in the GI tract in adult patients. The service is
equipped with an endoscopy ultrasound system, the only diagnostic and
interventional machine in Kuwait with the capability to offer complete
pancreatic health assessments – another unique service added to the RHH which
makes it among the most advanced hospitals in terms of its Medical treatment.
All upper and lower gastrointestinal tract endoscopic procedures, diagnostic
and therapeutic pancreato-biliary procedures (ERCP) are performed with minimal
pain. Our Pain Management unit complements the service by providing solutions
for acute and chronic pain to many of these patients.
