Clinical Pharmacist

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible and accountable: • For the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. • To provide direct patient-centered care with pharmaceutical services including but not limited to assessing patient needs, incorporating age and disease specific characteristics into drug therapy and patient education, adjusting care according to patient response, and providing clinical interventions to detect, mitigate, and prevent medication adverse events. • Active participation in the quality management program with the goal of improving quality of care which includes monitoring processes, analyzing data, implementing interventions for improvement and evaluating the effectiveness of the interventions etc. • To ensure compliance to accreditation standards as part of the healthcare accreditation journey.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) • Medical License, MOH Kuwait • Previous working experience as a clinical pharmacist for 5 years • Ability to communicate clearly both in English and Arabic. • Skill to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
