Application Specialist (Manager Level)

To manage and maintain Hospital management informatin systems and to ensure their effecive use

Requirements:

• Must be able to work efficiently and effectivly with customized databases and technology TRAKCARE. • To liaise with the software system vendor (TRAKCARE) and to ensure effective and timely roll out of its new version implementation. • Liaise with department’s heads, consultants, care givers, Nurses etc. and to develop and implement IT related strategies. • To manage and maintain computerzed systems. Electonic Medical records of patients in an effective manner. • To manage the input and output of IR data (Individual Records), ensure external dedlines are met and internal reports are produced. • To advice staff on methds of accessing information and to provide in-house training for staff in the use of HIMS systems and various modules as appropriate. • To develop new systems/MIS reports, to respond to the changing needs of the clinicians, and administrative executives. • Ability to be flexible, supportive and to work cooperatively with co-workers, and to oversee every aspect of the IT Division to ensure smooth operations and delivering utmost excellent service to end-user, Guests/Patients. • Develops / Recommends value added service and policies of IT Department. For data safety and brand value appreciations. • Comply with data integrity, organizational policies, and procedures. • Bachelors’s degree / Specialization in Information Technology. • Minimum of 5 years plus successful experience of HIMS out of which minimum 2 years should in trakcare system. • International experience desired. • Flexible hours. • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
